Deep straw yellow. Pleasingly fruity with a persistent bouquet, showing notes of Golden Delicious apples and almonds. Good body and silky texture on the well-balanced and elegant palate.
Ideal as an aperitif, or with pasta, fish risotto, white meat, and mild cheese.

Flint and slate character with cooked lemons and sliced apples. Full body, plenty of fruit and a flavorful finish. Drink now.

Here's a fun wine that takes us back to the origins of winemaking with Verdicchio. The Villa Bucci 2016 Verdicchio Classico Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Bucci is aged in 70-year-old oak casks (made with Slavonian oak) for three years. The time in barrel is not much, but the wine's contact with these almost completely neutral barrels is fundamental to its integration and balance. You get citrus and honeydew aromas with some dried garden herb and crushed stone, perfect for raw stone clams and cocktail sauce.
