Ripe but pristine blackberry flavors are brightened by a cool crush of minerality in this succulent, sunny red. A Grenache-dominant blend accented with Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault, it's full bodied but full of zest and zip. The finish is marked by a penetrating grip of fine, taut tannins. Approachable already the wine should drink well through 2027.

Moving to the reds, the 2017 Vacqueyras Cuvée Du Château is also a beauty. A blend of 70% Grenache and 10% each of Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cinsault, aged in tank and demi-muids, it boasts a deep purple color as well as rocking aromatics of red and black fruits, toasted spice, and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, it's elegant and has fine tannins as well as plenty of fruit. Drink it over the coming 6-8 years.
